The answer

Whoever denies the afterlife is a disbeliever. The reports of the prophets concerning resurrection have been transmitted with continuous unbroken chains (tawatur) and accepted by nations. Reason testifies to the possibility of resurrection because Allah created man from nothing and is capable of re-creating him. He is the One who created the heavens and the earth, which are greater, and He revives the earth after its death, so similarly He revives the dead. Sensory experience and reality have attested to the resurrection of the dead, as mentioned in the Quran. Wisdom necessitates resurrection so that every soul may be recompensed for what it earned; otherwise, creation would be futile and valueless. Whoever has these proofs made clear to him and insists on denial is stubborn and defiant.
