Does one who believes in resurrection by the spirit alone rule with disbelief or not?

The assertion that the soul will be resurrected without the body on the Day of Judgment is an act of disbelief in Allah and a denial of the Quran. Some philosophers, such as Al-Farabi and Ibn Sina, adopted this view. Al-Ghazali declared Al-Farabi an infidel for his assertions regarding the world's eternity, the absence of bodily resurrection, and his claim that Allah does not know particulars.
