What is the ruling on the supplication: "O Allah, make my mother among those to whom Hellfire says: 'Pass, for your light has extinguished my fire'"?

The phrase "On the Day of Judgment, the Fire will say to the believer: 'Pass, O believer, for your light has extinguished my flame,'" is found in a weak and denounced narration due to the instability of its narrators and its disconnected chain.

Since the hadith (definition) is not authentic and contains an unseen matter, it is not prescribed to supplicate with it, as it may be considered an transgression in supplication, which is forbidden by Islamic law, as stated in the Almighty's saying: ﴿Call upon your Lord humbly and privately; indeed, He does not like transgressors.﴾

It is sufficient for a Muslim to supplicate for their mother with the well-known lawful supplications from the Quran and Sunnah (definition), such as: "O Allah, forgive my mother and have mercy on her, protect her from the torment of the Fire, and admit her into Paradise," and His Almighty's saying: ﴿And say, 'My Lord, have mercy upon them as they raised me when I was small.'﴾, without inventing supplications that may be rejected.
