Can human souls meet animal souls?
Source: FtawySummary from Ftawy's records · added here Sep 2, 2026
The souls of humans and animals cannot meet or transmigrate from one to another. This is known as the transmigration of souls (reincarnation), which is intellectually unsound and religiously rejected. Scholars have stated that asserting it is an act of disbelief that expels one from the fold of Islam. The concept of the transmigration of souls denies accountability, Paradise, and Hell, and it contradicts the texts of revelation and the consensus of Muslims.
