Will the people of Paradise enjoy bliss in the Barzakh (interim life), and will they visit each other therein?

Punishment and bliss in the grave are affirmed by the Qur'an, the Sunnah (definition), and the consensus of the Ummah, and they encompass both the soul and the body. The manner of this punishment and bliss is not known to us, nor has any text been revealed regarding it, so the mind cannot comprehend it. The hadiths have indicated that the deceased is shown his place in Paradise or Hell, and that the grave of the wrongdoer will be constricted and he will be struck, while the grave of the virtuous will be filled with greenery and expanded for him. As for the meeting of souls after death, it is affirmed in principle.
