What is the reason for feeling weariness and boredom with prayer, despair regarding the acceptance of supplication, fear of illness and affliction, and expectation of evil, and what is the interpretation of the noticeable contradiction between the tribulations and the promised rewards for believers?

For the perfection and felicity of the heart's actions, the heart must turn to Allah to taste the sweetness of worship. For the heart is poor before Allah in terms of worship and seeking aid, and it finds no tranquility except through the worship of its Lord, His love, and turning to Him in repentance. To achieve this in prayer, one must cast aside worldly worries and feel the presence of standing before Allah, reflecting on the verses and remembrances, embodying humility and brokenness, and seeking refuge from Satan and his whisperings. The prayer offered with a present heart is that which is accepted by Allah, atones for misdeeds, and brings comfort and tranquility. As for supplication (Du'a), weeping is not a condition for it; rather, sincere devotion, devotion, and reliance on Allah are sufficient for its acceptance, along with seeking out times when supplications are answered. The believer must have a good opinion of Allah, for He is Merciful and Loving, and He decrees nothing for the believer except that it is good for him. The patient believer has an open chest and a tranquil heart even in affliction, and this is the meaning of a good life and the paradise of this world.
