Who are those exempted from passing over the Straight Path, and who are those whose deeds will not be weighed on the Day of Resurrection?

Scholars differed regarding who is exempted from passing over the Sirat (Bridge) on the Day of Judgment, presenting three opinions:

1. Exempting Prophets and Messengers, and those who enter Paradise without reckoning: This opinion contradicts the fact that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and his Ummah (nation) will be the first to cross the Sirat. 2. No one is exempted; everyone passes: This includes Prophets, Messengers, believers, and disbelievers who fall into Hellfire first. 3. Exempting disbelievers only: They fall into Hellfire before the Sirat is laid. This opinion is supported by evidence from the Sunnah, as the bridge is set up after the disbelievers have fallen.

Scholarly opinions also differed regarding whose deeds will not be weighed on the Day of Judgment:

1. Exempting those who enter Paradise without reckoning or punishment. 2. Exempting the disbeliever because he has no good deeds to be weighed: However, evidence indicates that the disbeliever's deeds are weighed. For whoever's scales are heavy, he will succeed, and whoever's scales are light, he will lose. Disbelief outweighs any good deed he might have.
