Should the mother obey her daughter who asks her to leave her job, knowing that the mother is comfortable in her job and meets her personal needs from it, while the daughter depends on the mother for everything and the family's financial circumstances are difficult?

If the mother's work adheres to Sharia guidelines, then there is no harm in it. However, if the daughter fulfills her mother's needs and covers her demands, then there is no harm for her to ask her mother to stay at home and quit work, due to the prevalence of harms in women's work, especially service work and the humiliation involved therein. This request should be made gently, out of respect for the mother's status and the impermissibility of raising one's voice at her.
