There is no sin on someone who took an intoxicant while unaware of its nature, nor is someone who committed zina while unconscious due to intoxication considered an adulterer, because the pen has been lifted from him, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The pen has been lifted from my Ummah concerning mistakes, forgetfulness, and what they are forced to do." He should purify himself and pray with the people. If he committed zina, he must repent and maintain prayer in the mosque; and he must beware of bad company.
