What is the punishment for a thief who did not report the theft of a motorcycle, in cooperation with another person, from in front of its owner's house?

The punishment for a thief in this world is cutting off their hand, and in the hereafter, if they do not repent, they will be cursed and tormented. Allah Almighty says: "And the male [unpunished] thief and the female [unpunished] thief, amputate their hands in recompense for what they committed as a deterrent [punishment] from Allah. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise." (Quran 5:38) The conditions for applying this prescribed punishment are that the thief must be an adult, the stolen property must reach the minimum threshold (nisab), and it must be taken from a secure place. As for a thief who is not an adult, the prescribed punishment is not applied to them, nor is there sin upon them, as they are not held accountable. However, they are required to guarantee what they stole from their own money, and if they have no money, they are held liable for the value in their financial responsibility. If an adult and a minor participate in theft, the prescribed punishment is applied only to the adult.
