If the relationship is forbidden, it is not permissible for the wife to agree to it; rather, she should advise her husband and deter him from it. However, if he wishes to marry another righteous woman, he may convince his wife and inform her that it is a permissible marriage and she must agree. The husband must be just between his wives in rights, such as spending, otherwise, he will come on the Day of Resurrection with his side drooping.
