Is it permissible to delete songs from a friend's phone without informing him?

The Muslim is commanded to denounce and remove evil according to his ability, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: (Whoever among you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand; if he cannot, then with his tongue; if he cannot, then with his heart—and that is the weakest of faith). Denouncing with the hand is conditioned on it not leading to a greater evil than the one being denounced. When interests and harms conflict, the stronger must be given preference according to the balance of Sharia. So, if the benefits missed or harms incurred are greater, then commanding it is not enjoined but rather forbidden. Breaking musical instruments is not incumbent upon an individual due to lack of authority, and it is not permissible if it leads to greater harm such as discord or evil; rather, one should flee from it.
