Translating Shar'i books requires knowledge of the terminology used by the scholars of Islamic law, and mere linguistic proficiency is insufficient, as these books are connected to revelation. If translators lack Shar'i knowledge, the translation can be reviewed by a skilled individual proficient in both language and Islamic law to ensure its accuracy. Translators should be called upon to adhere to the Sunnah and acquire Islamic legal knowledge. Permission must be sought from the authors of books if they have stipulated that their works should not be altered, including through translation.
