Does one find happiness if they search for it far from God, and does closeness to God bring comfort, tranquility, and happiness, and how does the heart become attached to God, His Messenger, and His Qur'an, and how does attachment to God cleanse the heart of its worries?

Happiness is the foundation of life, and it is only achieved by fleeing to God, drawing near to Him, and following His law. Allah Almighty said: "Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allah hearts are assured." The believer recognizes this blessing and strives for the pleasure of his Lord, so his heart is at peace and his chest expands. As for the non-believer, he does not know happiness, because sins and transgressions cause happiness to be lost.
