What is the path to happiness?

Happiness is a paradise sought by all people, but few are guided to its true path. Many believe it lies in wealth, children, or fame, but in reality, it is purity of soul, tranquility of heart, and expansion of the breast. It is found in deep faith in God, remembering Him, being mindful of Him, and performing good deeds seeking His countenance, as Allah Almighty said: "Those who have believed and whose hearts are assured by the remembrance of Allah. Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allah hearts are assured" and "Whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer - We will surely cause him to live a good life." Faith is the foundation of happiness, and if material means are combined with faith, that is a bounty from Allah.
