Is Christ, Jesus son of Mary, considered to be of the Children of Adam, or was he created directly by God like Adam, especially since progeny is limited to men?

Jesus, peace be upon him, is from the progeny of Adam, and he is from the descendants of Noah and Abraham, peace be upon them both. He is mentioned in the Holy Quran as being from the progeny of Abraham or Noah, which confirms his human lineage. The verse: (Indeed, the example of Jesus to Allah is like that of Adam. He created him from dust; then He said to him, "Be," and he was.) Al Imran/59, indicates Allah's power in creating Jesus without a father, just as He created Adam without a father or mother. This is an argument against those who claim the divinity of Jesus because of his miraculous birth.
