How do we respond to those who say that Jesus is the Son of God because he was born and not created like Adam?

The true God is the Creator of all things, the Knower of them, and the One Capable over them. He is self-sufficient, while everything else is dependent on Him. There is nothing like Him, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing. God has absolved Himself of taking a son, for the existence of a son for Him would mean the existence of another god, which is impossible. If there were two gods, each god would take what it created, and some of them would surely rise above others. The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, is the Messenger of God and His Word. He is a human being who eats food and requires nourishment, and his life leaves no room for doubt about his humanity. His creation is like the creation of Adam; God created him from dust, then said to him: "Be," and he was. So, if Adam was not a god despite his creation without parents, then Jesus is even more certainly a created being.
