Is the female questioner considered among those disputants whose deeds are not raised (to God), because her brother filed a lawsuit against a female colleague of his at work who had refused to pay the remainder of her brother's wages after a dispute between them?
The questioner bears no blame or sin; rather, she will be rewarded for her endeavor to fulfill her sister's need, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "And whoever fulfills the need of his brother, Allah will fulfill his need." The sister has no right to be angry or to boycott. The questioning sister should be patient and treat her sister kindly.
Regarding the worker's wage, the sister is obligated to pay the full agreed-upon amount if the worker completed his task according to the required specifications, whether he worked alone or with others. This is unless his failure to bring another worker affected the quality of the work, in which case an amount should be deducted from him accordingly.
