What should I do to avoid the temptation of women and return to religious commitment, especially since I find it difficult to interact with my wife due to not being attracted to her beauty, and I feel that my choice of her was driven by circumstances and fear of temptation, rather than complete conviction?

A Muslim's awareness of his mistakes and his need for rectification is an indication of the vitality of his heart. This can be corrected by turning to Allah Almighty through supplication (Du'a), strong determination, sincerity with Allah, and initiating sincere repentance (Tawbah Nasuh), especially concerning abandoning prayer. If a wife does not suffice a Muslim, he may marry another if he fears falling into adultery. It must be noted that parents do not have the right to compel their son to marry someone he does not desire, and it is not permissible to abuse one's mother or supplicate against her, even if she wrongs him.
