The answer

The optimal treatment for this problem lies in lowering one's gaze from women and avoiding meeting them as much as possible. If you are able to marry, then do so; otherwise, observe frequent voluntary fasts, distance yourself from provocations, avoid seclusion, and refrain from thinking about matters related to women. If evil thoughts arise, repel them by seeking refuge (with Allah) and by frequently engaging in remembrance (dhikr), in accordance with His, the Almighty's, sayings: "Indeed, those who fear Allah - when an evil suggestion touches them from Satan, they remember [Allah], and suddenly they become insightful" and "And if an evil suggestion comes to you from Satan, then seek refuge in Allah. Indeed, He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing." Be diligent in performing congregational prayers, reflecting upon the Qur'an, reciting remembrances, and offering supplications. Go to the mosque before the prayer and perform voluntary rak'ahs. Continue your education and advising people, for your lack of steadfastness does not negate your responsibility to teach others.
