Is repentance accepted for sins related to sexual talk, watching pornography, and masturbation, and is one absolved of responsibility by giving ongoing charity on behalf of those previously spoken to?

Expiation for sins is achieved through repentance, seeking forgiveness, performing numerous good deeds, and the servant's steadfastness in fearing God. Among the good deeds is continuous charity (sadaqah (definition) jariyah), such as printing and distributing beneficial books, due to the guidance towards good they contain. It is permissible to dedicate the reward of acts of worship to the living or the dead, but it is better to seek forgiveness for them, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever seeks forgiveness for believing men and believing women, Allah will record a good deed for him for every believing man and believing woman."
