What is the ruling on taking a 2% commission from companies as a purchasing manager, knowing that the prices are lower than market price, purchases are made according to consumption and long shelf life, and after price comparisons?

If the commission is given to the worker, it is not permissible to take it without the knowledge of the company owner or its authorized manager. If they do not permit it, then it is not permissible to take it, as it falls under the prohibited gifts to workers, due to the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "What is wrong with a worker whom I send, and he says: 'This is for you and this was gifted to me'? Why does he not sit in his father's house or his mother's house and see whether anything is gifted to him or not!!" And his saying: "Whoever among you works for us on a job and conceals from us a needle or more, it is ill-gotten gain that he will bring on the Day of Resurrection."

If the commission goes to the company, it is a price reduction and is not considered a commission.
