There is no harm in purchasing luxurious items, such as luxury cars or fine furniture, if the buyer is capable and does not intend extravagance or ostentation, but rather seeks beauty and adornment. Nevertheless, humility and using moderately priced items are better, so that one can spend the surplus on charity, helping the poor, and contributing to charitable projects.
