How can one restore the vitality of the heart and avoid boredom and despair in life, and get rid of the sin of watching pornography and masturbation, despite attempts to return to God that do not last long, especially since external appearances do not reflect the inner struggle that prevents one from performing night prayers, reciting the Quran, and engaging in remembrance?

We pray for you that Allah may fill your heart with faith and grant you sincere repentance, and we give you glad tidings that your feeling of the danger of sin is a good sign. We advise you to increase in supplication, have sincere determination, and think well of Allah. Remember the danger of sin, Allah's awareness of you, death, and the reckoning. Accompany good people, occupy your time with what benefits, and thank Allah for His concealment while fearing His wrath. It is not permissible to wish for death, and your strange feeling during remembrance might be an entry point for Satan to deter you from it, so you must continue in remembrance.
