How can a person rid himself of addiction to pornography, which he uses as a temporary escape from life's pressures and depression, despite knowing it is forbidden?

Whoever finds comfort and pleasure in disobedience (to God), their pleasure is fleeting and does not last, followed by misery and distress. The reality of a servant lies in their soul and heart, and there is no rectification for them except through the remembrance of Allah. A servant does not find the sweetness of faith unless their heart is free from its ailments and defects. However, if the heart is diseased, it will find sweet what leads to its destruction, such as sins. Therefore, repentance from viewing forbidden things is obligatory.
