How can one overcome the addiction to watching pornography while committed to prayer, fasting, and helping the needy, and feeling hypocritical due to this sin, based on the teachings of the Quran and Hadith to strengthen faith and willpower?

This feeling of distress and signs of sincerity are the beginning of repentance and of striving against the soul that incites to evil. Some guidelines can be followed to help with this: Supplicating and humbling oneself before Allah, seeking out times when prayers are answered, increasing acts of worship such as prayer, which forbids indecency and evil, and being keen to increase knowledge of Allah through His names and attributes and reflecting on His creation. Also, knowing that the path to Paradise is arduous and requires striving and patience, and contemplating the benefits of lowering one's gaze, such as obeying Allah’s command, purifying the heart, protecting oneself from the arrows of Satan, attaining the sweetness of faith and true discernment, freeing the heart from regret and the captivity of desires, and strengthening the mind. It is also recommended to read the book "Ad-Daa' wa Ad-Dawaa'" (The Disease and the Cure) by Ibn Al-Qayyim.
