Is it forbidden or disliked for a person to say that they dislike the Arabic language with the intention that it is difficult or boring?

The Arabic language is the language of the Holy Quran, and it is part of the religion. Knowledge of it is an obligatory duty for understanding the Book and the Sunnah. Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah clarified that accustomed use of the Arabic language influences the intellect, character, and religion, and bequeaths resemblance to the early generations of the Ummah. Umar ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, commanded the learning of Arabic and its jurisprudence, because it is part of the religion. As for a natural dislike of the Arabic language due to the difficulty of learning it, it does not appear to be religiously prohibited. However, it is more fitting to avoid this expression as a sign of respect for the language of the Quran.
