To what extent is the hadith "I am in my grave, alive and fresh; whoever invokes blessings upon me, I invoke blessings upon him; and whoever greets me, I return his greeting" authentic?

This Hadith has no origin with this wording, but its meaning has been ورد in several authentic Hadiths, including that Friday is the best of days, and on it Adam was created and passed away, and on it will be the blowing [of the Trumpet] and the stunning. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, enjoined increasing prayers upon him on this day because "your prayers are presented to him," and Allah has forbidden the earth from consuming the bodies of the prophets, just as the prophets are alive in their graves, praying.
