How sound is the circulating story about a king asking the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, to bring the sun from the West, and then the Messenger informing him of his daughter's illness and her subsequent recovery?

The story of the sun rising from the west for a king is not mentioned in books of سير (biographies) or history. It appears to be fabricated by storytellers, as the sun will not rise from the west except near the Hour (Day of Judgment). The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was granted great miracles, including the splitting of the moon, the sun being held back for him twice, and trees coming to him.
