A woman establishing an emotional relationship with a man who is a stranger to her is forbidden and reprehensible. It is even more severe if she is married, due to the infringement upon her husband's rights and her failure to safeguard herself and his property in his absence.

We advise the husband not to rush into divorce, especially with the presence of children. The wife's request for forgiveness is a good sign, but it is not sufficient for repentance; rather, the conditions of repentance must be met.

If her repentance is sincere and her conduct improves, the husband should keep her and treat her well. He should also investigate and address the reasons that led her to this, and he may himself have been remiss in her rights.

As for the custody of the two daughters, it belongs to the mother as long as she does not remarry or a disqualifying impediment arises, such as immorality. If her right is forfeited, custody transfers to whoever is most entitled to them. The two daughters should be nurtured and guided to ensure a good upbringing.
