What is the way to stop watching pornographic movies, and the repeated regret over them, along with the fear of Allah Almighty's wrath and betraying one's husband?

Watching lewd films is dangerous and has significant negative impacts on one's faith and psyche. Its prohibition and reprehensibility are even greater if the act originates from a married woman. One should close the gateways of Shaytan by repelling thoughts and ideas before they transform into actions and habits. Do not despair of Allah's mercy, and feel the greatness of His forgiveness. Repent after every sin, for Allah forgives sins no matter how often repentance is repeated. A Muslim should combine fear and hope, neither feeling secure from Allah's plan nor despairing of His mercy. For steadfastness in repentance, one must be sincere with Allah, keen on beneficial knowledge and righteous deeds, attend gatherings of goodness, and keep company with righteous women.
