How can one stop watching pornography, knowing it is forbidden and wishing to stop?

One must strive against the self, desires, and Satan to stop watching indecent films. One should seek help from Allah Almighty, strengthen one's resolve, and be mindful of Allah's constant watch, as He will question His servant about their life and youth. This struggle may be difficult at first, but it becomes easier with perseverance. These films cause religious and worldly harm, leading to indecency and hardness of heart. One must offer sincere repentance to Allah Almighty and resolve not to return to such acts, in accordance with His saying: "Say, 'O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.'"
