What is the ruling on prostrating to Allah out of humility and fear, without ablution or covering one's nakedness?

What was done in drawing closer to Allah Almighty through a single prostration in the manner mentioned is not legislated. Therefore, this act should not be repeated unless there is a reason that necessitates prostration. Nothing is incumbent upon the prostrator for what occurred, and we hope that he is forgiven due to his ignorance of the ruling and not intending to transgress.
