What is the ruling on shaping the eyebrows, and does it entail sin?

The authentic Sunnah prohibits plucking eyebrows (al-Nams), which is the removal of eyebrow hair. Whoever has done this must offer sincere repentance with its conditions: ceasing the act, resolving not to return to it, and regretting it. Allah accepts the repentance of whoever repents. Allah Almighty says: "And indeed, I am the All-Forgiving to whoever repents, believes, and does righteousness, and then is guided."
