The scholars have stipulated that drawing animate beings on canvases, walls, clothes, and other surfaces is prohibited. This is the view of the majority of scholars. Therefore, the husband must avoid drawing animate beings and content himself with drawing inanimate objects such as trees, seas, and buildings. It is not permissible for him to aid in what is forbidden.
