What is the ruling on working in a media institution (radio or television) given the corrupting elements it broadcasts?

Visual and audio media greatly influence society, its culture, and its morals. Whoever is able to participate in it to increase its good and decrease its evil is obligated to do so, provided they do not engage in sin or unlawful amusement. Otherwise, they would fall under the prohibition of cooperating in sin and aggression, as Allah Almighty said: (And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression), and Allah Almighty said: (And when you see those who engage in [offensive] discourse concerning Our verses, then turn away from them until they enter into another conversation).
