What is the ruling on working as an accountant in a media organization such as radio, television, or specialized channels?

Media plays a significant role and is a double-edged sword. Therefore, those in charge of it must entrust it to trustworthy individuals who possess knowledge, insight, and integrity, because whoever publishes what harms people in their faith or morals bears a burden similar to the sins of those who are led astray by it, and whoever publishes what benefits others receives rewards similar to those who benefit from it. Every believer who feels capable should fill this void and not leave it to the ignorant and the corrupt. Rather, righteous and faithful people should take charge of guiding it to proceed according to the Islamic way. However, if they have no role and cannot effect change, then it is better for a Muslim to avoid it and not use it as a means of earning a living.
