What is the ruling on listening to doubts and their refutations to increase certainty in religion?

Whoever is not armed with solid religious knowledge should not look into the fallacies of the enemies of Islam, lest any of them settle in her heart. For the Sharia has instructed to stay away from fallacies. As stated in the Hadith: "Whoever hears of the Dajjal, let him keep far from him; for by Allah, a man will come to him thinking he is a believer, then follow him, because of the specious arguments he sends forth." The path to certainty is not through examining fallacies and refuting them, but rather through contemplating the Qur’an.
