Is it permissible to say "you don't deserve this" to a sick person?

This utterance is not permissible because it is an objection to Allah's decree and destiny. Allah knows best the conditions of His servants, and He possesses ultimate wisdom in what He decrees and ordains. The prescribed phrase to use is: "May Allah grant him health and recovery," or similar good expressions.
