What is the ruling regarding a Maliki congregant who prayed Jumu'ah behind a Shafi'i imam, then the imam repeated his prayer as Dhuhr?

Shaykh Ulaysh, may Allah have mercy on him, issued a fatwa (definition) that the congregant should repeat the Friday prayer as Dhuhr, based on the Maliki school of thought, which states that it is not valid for a congregant to pray behind an Imam who is not performing the same obligatory prayer as the congregant. Therefore, if it becomes apparent that the Shafii Imam repeated the Friday prayer as Dhuhr, then the congregant must also repeat Dhuhr; due to the possibility that the Imam's obligatory prayer was the repeated Dhuhr and not the Friday prayer. This is because the Shafiis say that Dhuhr should be repeated after Friday prayer if multiple Friday prayers are performed without need or if there is doubt about another (prayer) preceding it. This Mufti (definition) issued a fatwa for repetition due to the possibility of a difference in intention between the Imam and the congregant regarding the obligatory prayer.
