Is there any Sharia violation in reciting Surat Al-Fatiha 40 times, Ayat Al-Kursi 9 times, repeating “And never does it tire Him to guard them both; and He is the Most High, the Most Great” 9 times, Surat Ya-Sin 3 times, and Surat Al-Ikhlas and Al-Mu'awwidhat (the two Surahs of refuge) the mentioned number of times, with the intention of breaking free from restrictions and financial problems?

Reciting Surat Al-Fatihah, Ayatul-Kursi, Surat Al-Ikhlas, Al-Mu'awwidhatayn (Al-Falaq and An-Nas), and Surat Yasin in the manner mentioned for relieving distress, healing, and facilitating sustenance, has no evidence to support it. This is considered an additive innovation (bid'ah idafiyyah). One should fortify oneself with authentic supplications and remembrances (adhkar) from the Qur'an and Sunnah, rely upon Allah, and beware of sorcerers and imposters.
