What are the results of combining faith with rectitude?

God promised those who do righteous deeds while being believers - male or female - that He would grant them a "goodly life" in this world. This encompasses various aspects of comfort and has been interpreted as lawful sustenance, contentment, happiness, and performing acts of obedience with cheerfulness. In the Hereafter, He will reward them with the best of what they did.

The believing servant who performs deeds sincerely for God and adheres steadfastly to His law attains happiness in both worlds, inner peace, an open heart, a sound state of mind, and an eagerness to obey God.

And if they die upon this state, God will save them from the trial of the grave, make the reckoning easy for them, fully pay them their reward manifold, and transform their evil deeds into good ones. Then He will admit them to Paradise by His mercy, where they will be happy and never miserable, live and never die, and find what no human mind has ever conceived.

Allah Almighty says: (Indeed, those who have said, "Our Lord is Allah" and then remained on a straight course - the angels will descend upon them, [saying], "Do not fear and do not grieve but receive good tidings of Paradise, which you were promised. We are your allies in the worldly life and in the Hereafter. And you will have therein whatever your souls desire, and you will have therein whatever you request [or wish for] - as a hospitality from One Oft-Forgiving and Most Merciful.") Fussilat/30-32.
