Is it permissible for a Libyan citizen residing in Turkey to go perform the Hajj obligation without his wife, knowing that she will remain alone with their two young daughters, and is the presence of non-mahram friends who reassure him about his family sufficient to justify his travel?

It is permissible to go for Hajj if the sick lady can be left in a safe place and under the care of her brothers, provided that Islamic guidelines are adhered to, such as men not entering upon her alone or having khalwa (private seclusion) with her. The brothers can visit her with their wives and attend to her needs. There is no harm in them taking her to the hospital, without any of them having khalwa with her in the car. The permissibility of a husband going for Hajj and leaving his wife is indicated by what was narrated in the hadith of Ibn Abbas from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) concerning a woman from the Ansar.
