Will God accept a prayer for something that might be bad in the future?

This question is unclear, but if it is about supplicating for something that would harm oneself or others without a legitimate Shar'i reason, then supplicating against oneself is forbidden, and some scholars have explicitly stated that such a supplication will not be answered. As for supplicating against others unjustly, it may or may not be answered.
