What is the ruling on a person supplicating evil upon themselves, and then repenting and wishing that this supplication not be answered?

Supplicating against oneself is forbidden, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Do not supplicate against yourselves, nor against your wealth, nor against your children." One must repent to Allah Almighty for supplicating against oneself, and strive to supplicate for oneself with good and have a good opinion of Allah.
