What should I do about my beard if it causes pain to my wife, who has sensitive skin, when it touches her face?

The Hadiths consistently emphasize the obligation of growing the beard and warn against shaving or trimming it. Opposing the polytheists and the Magians is achieved by growing beards, and shaving it is an alteration of Allah's creation, and an imitation of disbelievers and women. The fundamental ruling for this command is obligation, unless there is a specific legitimate excuse for the individual, such as the presence of acne or undergoing surgery. Therefore, it is not permissible for the husband to shave his beard for the sake of his wife who suffers from an allergy to touching it. Rather, the wife should be treated, and medical barriers can be used for protection, because the disappearance of the illness by shaving the beard is merely conjectural.
