If a writer relies in his article on what others have written by gathering disparate information, arranging jumbled content, summarizing lengthy texts, and simplifying difficult concepts, then there is no sin, and he is not obligated to attribute every benefit to its original author. However, it is better to attribute every نقل (transmitted content) to its owner, especially if a lot of content is taken from a specific book or website. But if his work is limited to rephrasing articles and publishing them as if they were his own ideas, then this is deceit and falsehood, and an infringement on the rights of the article owners. For it is from the blessing and gratitude for knowledge to attribute it to its speaker.
