Permission is not required to benefit from or quote the work of others. However, it is required to attribute direct textual quotations to their original authors. If the text has been rephrased and reorganized, then it is not necessary to attribute every transfer to its owner, although establishing attribution is better and closer to piety. It is desirable to review one's intention in one's work. There is no objection to adding illustrative images that are free from Sharia prohibitions.
