Is it permissible to write a text containing names such as "O Most Gracious, O Most Merciful, O Helper by Allah, O Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, O Abu Bakr, O Umar, O Uthman, O Ali, O Hasan, O Husayn, O Yahya, O Halim, O Allah, and there is no power nor strength save in Allah, the Most High, the Most Magnificent, Shahamat al-Fardani, Yusuf al-Siddiq, Abd al-Ra'uf al-Yamani, Imam al-Arifeen, Aman al-Haqq, Lisan al-Mutakallimeen, Awn Allah al-Sakhawi, Arif al-Tayyar known as Milhan, Burhan al-Kurama', Ghawth al-Anam, O Master of the Age, Muhammad al-Mahdi, O Isa, and Sahab al-Unsur, O Khidr" on a mirror and sell it?

It is impermissible to write this text because it contains polytheism (shirk (definition)) in supplication (du'a). Directing supplication to other than Allah is shirk, even if the one being supplicated to is a prophet or a righteous person. Its ugliness increases if the supplicator believes that the one being supplicated to can benefit them in matters that only Allah can accomplish. Furthermore, the text contains false and reprehensible statements such as "Ghawth al-Anam (Succour of Mankind) and Sahib al-Zaman (Master of the Age)," which are among the superstitions of the Sufis that grant human beings divine attributes. Scholars have explicitly stated the prohibition of hiring for an unlawful benefit, and writing what contains shirk and falsehood is among the clearest forms of prohibition.
