Is reading the Prophetic Hadith in the mosque considered an innovation (bid'ah), and what is the ruling on one who prevents it?

The Sunnah is everything attributed to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, whether it be a saying, an action, an approval, or a description. Bid'ah (innovation) is that which was not reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, despite the presence of a cause for it, or it is an invented way in religion that resembles a legitimate one.

Reading Hadith in the mosque is a continuous Sunnah reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, his Companions, and the Imams after them. The mosque is the noblest place for seeking knowledge.

There is no doubt that saying that reading Hadith in the mosque is an innovation is false and contrary to the consensus of Muslims. The one who states this should be repudiated and warned.
